The Aptos Foundation has proposed to deploy the third version of the Aave landing protocol based on the Aptos blockchain using parallelization technology.
Aave is on the move toward it's first non-EVM network with @Aptos.https://t.co/W2UMHQy6Tj
— Aave Labs (@aave) July 1, 2024The proposal is currently in the "temperature verification" phase, which includes collecting feedback from the community. After discussion, it will be submitted for a vote.
If approved, the proposal will be issued in Aave Request for Comments (ARC), which implies further discussion of asset parameters and implementation features. After that, it is necessary to create an appropriate AIP, a period of testing and auditing, then the deployment of the technology.
Aave Labs has already created the integration code and activated it in the test network.
If the community approves the initiative, this will be the first time the Aave platform is deployed on a blockchain that does not use EVM.
The TVL-leading landing platform supports the following networks: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Fantom, Harmony, Optimism, Polygon, Metism, Gnosis, BNB Chain, Scroll.
Recall that in March, Aave Labs presented a roadmap for the fourth version of the protocol.
