The Russian Industrial Mining Association has proposed a new tax model
The Association of Industrial Mining of Russia (APM) has submitted to the Ministry of Finance a new taxation model for companies engaged in mining cryptocurrencies in the country.

The APM reported that they are working on the implementation of a new model together with the Federal Tax Service (FTS).

APM experts propose to levy taxes on companies engaged in cryptocurrency mining when they sell it for fiat funds. This approach will allow miners to take into account their costs of paying for electricity and depreciation of equipment.

The main goal of the new taxation model is to create a fair and convenient system for all market participants in the country. According to the analysts of the Association of Industrial Mining, the tax system formed on the basis of their model will be able to take into account all the costs associated with mining cryptocurrencies.

The APM is convinced that after the introduction of balanced industry regulation in Russia, the federal budget will be replenished by 50 billion rubles annually. After the conclusion from the Ministry of Finance is received, it is planned to proceed with further improvement of the taxation model for mining companies.

Earlier, Anton Gorelkin, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, deputy of the United Russia faction, said that consideration of the bill banning the free circulation of cryptocurrencies in Russia should be accelerated.
