Some malicious participants of the Lista DAO (LISTA) IEO token on the Megadrop platform from the Binance exchange have faced blockages. This was reported by journalist Colin Wu.

Under Wu's post, representatives of the exchange confirmed the incident. According to the statement, some users have purchased "a large number of accounts with KYC passed in order to receive rewards in batches."

Binance clarified that after the attackers were discovered by the security system, they transferred all the LISTA funds to one account in an attempt to sell them, but were blocked.
"We always defend the rights of real users. The frozen funds of the attackers will continue to be used for the activities of the project in order to return them to the real participants of the program," Binance stressed.
According to the exchange's statistics, more than 1 million users participated in the IEO ListaDAO, 102,000 of whom the system identified as scammers.
Binance introduced the Megadrop platform for issuing tokens with airdrops and Web3 quests in April. With its help, BNB holders subscribed to Simple Earn products receive rewards for completing tasks.
The BounceBit bitcoin restaking protocol became a pilot project of the program.
Recall that in June, the crypto exchange announced the HODLer Airdrops initiative for BNB owners, which will provide early access to tokens preparing for listing on the platform.
