Bitwise will transfer 10% of the profits of its ETH-ETF to Ethereum developers
Bitwise Asset Management has announced that it plans to transfer 10% of the profits of Bitwise Ethereum-ETF (ETHW) to Ethereum developers within 10 years.

Representatives of Bitwise Asset Management indicated that organizations such as Protocol Guild and the PBS Foundation will receive funding, among others.

"We cannot take Ethereum and the basic properties of the protocol for granted. We are pleased that ETHW will support the work of those involved in the Ethereum protocol, who work tirelessly every day to improve the security, scalability and usability of Ethereum," the statement said.

Bitwise drew attention to the fact that the companies to which it is planned to provide financing may change based on the results of the annual review of the distribution plans.

Earlier, Bitwise investment Director Matt Hougan said that the ether exchange rate could show growth after the start of trading on ETH-ETFs. According to him, the inflow of capital into new exchange-traded products will be the main catalyst for an increase in the price of ETH in the medium term.

Earlier, the head of the investment company The ETF Store, Nate Geraci, said that in the next few months, the market may launch a combined ETF based on three cryptocurrencies: bitcoin, ether and Solana.
