The Winklevoss brothers donated $1 million in Bitcoins to overthrow Senator Elizabeth Warren
The co—founders of the Gemini cryptocurrency exchange, brothers Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, donated $500,000 each to cryptocurrency lawyer John Deaton in order to oust digital asset opponent Elizabeth Warren from the US Senate.

On the social network, Tyler Winklevoss openly opposed Democratic Senator from Massachusetts Elizabeth Warren, declaring her one of the greatest threats to America's prosperity. Winklevoss called Warren the "chief architect" behind the war that the administration of President Joe Biden is waging against the crypto industry. According to Winklevoss, Biden gave Warren enormous power to shape regulators and "pull their strings behind the scenes," so U.S. regulators effectively became her puppets.

"When it comes to cryptocurrencies, Elizabeth Warren is public enemy number one. Cryptocurrency is able to level the financial playing field, it leads to justice and freedom for all. Warren has to accept this. However, she is trying to kill the industry. Why? Because it cannot control cryptocurrencies. Her thirst for power and control is so great that she puts it above every single user, pretending that she is trying to protect him," Winklevoss wrote in X.

To overthrow Warren from the post of senator, the twin brothers each donated 8 BTC to the political campaign of Republican candidate John Deaton. Deaton is a former U.S. Marine and lawyer known for his support of cryptocurrency companies. He made a significant contribution to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) litigation with Ripple. A few days ago, Ripple also transferred $1 million to the Commonwealth Unity Fund to overthrow Elizabeth Warren.

"John Deaton supports bitcoin, other digital assets and the cryptocurrency business in general. He will put an end to Elizabeth Warren's war on cryptocurrencies," the Winklevoss brothers are sure.

Last month, the founders of Gemini donated $1 million in bitcoins to the election campaign of Donald Trump. Then, the co-founder of the Kraken exchange, Jesse Powell, expressed support for Trump, who sent 290 ETH ($1 million) to Trump.
