Crypto Bot has announced the launch and airdrop of the SEND token

A trading bot in the Telegram messenger — Crypto Bot — announced the launch of the SEND utility token on The Open Network (TON) blockchain.

Representatives of Crypto Bot also announced an airdrop for "active and dedicated" users of the application. According to the team, the snapshot has already been taken at the end of March.

"SEND will become the cornerstone of the Crypto Bot ecosystem and will be used for rewards for using our products and more," the announcement says.

The project representatives did not name the exact date of the coin's release.

The Telegram bot was launched about three years ago, during which time the service added support for various cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, TON, LTC, ETH, TRX, GRAM, BNB, BUSD, USDC and USDT.

In addition to the custodial function, Crypto Bot supports a P2P platform and a digital asset exchange. The platform is also developing the Crypto Pay payment system.

The bot supports a check system in which the user can transfer cryptocurrency without commission by issuing a virtual receipt.

Previously, experts interviewed by ForkLog warned about the risk of losing cryptocurrencies when trading through Telegram bots. Despite the simple interface of the platforms, there is a danger of hacking.

Recall that in October 2023, an unknown person attacked the Unibot Telegram trading bot. The damage amounted to almost $650,000.

Later, BONKbot and Solareum users lost $520,000 due to hacks. CertiK analysts drew attention to multiple reports of loss of funds and allowed a possible leak of private keys.
