Ex-CEO of BlockShow to hold FORKED conference in Hong Kong

The FORKED Web3 conference will be held in Hong Kong on May 8-9. It will bring together about 1,000 representatives of the crypto industry, including venture capitalists, company executives, developers and journalists. This was reported to ForkLog by the organizers of the event.

To participate, you need to submit a preliminary application on the conference website. The FORKED team will issue a ticket only if it is approved.

FORKED was organized by the founder and former CEO of BlockShow, Eddie Creasy.

The name is inspired by the historical Ethereum hard fork in 2016, as FORKED appeared as a result of unforeseen circumstances and symbolizes the tenacity and ingenuity of the founders in overcoming difficulties. FORKED is backed by the same team that contributed to the success of BlockShow," the press release says.

Among the speakers of the conference:

CEO of Animoca Brands Robbie Jung;Ray Chan, Co-founder and CEO of Memeland, 9GAG;Kenny Lee, Co-founder and COO of Manta Network;Co-founder and CEO of Sky Mavis Chung Nguyen;CFO Illuvium by Danny Wilson.

The co―organizer of the event is the metaverse startup Highstreet. The media co-hosts will be Rug Radio and Decrypt, and the strategic partners will be ARC Community, AngelHack, Coinhako and QCP Capital.

Recall that on April 12-13, the ForkLog team will hold the AllTimeHalf 2024 conference in honor of bitcoin halving. It will be attended by crypto developers, entrepreneurs, enthusiasts and visionaries.
