The exact date of distribution is unknown. The community suggests that this may happen when the balance of users' points is transferred to the on-chain.

Friend.Tech is a decentralized social application based on Coinbase's L2 solution, integrated with the social network X. Launched in August 2023, the platform allows you to tokenize participant profiles in the form of "keys" and trade them.

In the new version of Friend.Tech will introduce the Money Club feature, which allows communities to manage shared treasuries and create collectibles like NFT and meme tokens.

FriendTech V2 is dropping in 1 month.

I bought @0xRacerAlt’s key for $10,000 and digested all his private messages from the past 6 months so you didn’t have to. As the 3rd largest @friendtech key buyer of the past 7D, read on for V2 leaks. 👀

The platform will also have its own decentralized exchange.

The developers will implement an improved points system and "custom curves". Minor updates will affect the user interface: Customizable poll chats, sweepstakes, and visual themes will appear.

Social network activity

Despite the initial hype around Friend.Tech, the attention to the platform has faded over time. Less than three weeks after the launch, some community members stated the "death" of the project.

However, since the beginning of April, after the announcement of the second version and the appearance of rumors about airdrop, activity on the social network began to increase.

According to DeFi Llama, the total cost of being blocked in Friend. The amount of funds at the time of writing is $34.26 million. At its peak in October, the figure reached $54 million.

According to the Dune dashboard, since the launch, users of the platform have paid commissions in excess of $24 million. The total number of transactions exceeded 13 million.

As of April 28, there were only 1,275 active buyers and sellers on the network.

Recall, on October 7, the Stars Arena app, inspired by Friend.Tech, lost 266,103 AVAX (~$3 million at the time of the attack) due to a "serious security breach" of smart contracts.
