JasmyCoin grew by 20% amid speculation about cooperation with Apple

Some holders of the JasmyCoin token (JASMY) probably think that the project has entered into a partnership with Apple. During the day, the coin grew by 20%.

According to a Reuters article dated May 30, Tim Cook, CEO of the California corporation, at the request of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, agreed to implement the functions of the national identification cards "My Number" in the iPhone.

The solution collects all information about taxes and social security of citizens and residents of the country in a single register.

JasmyCoin is an ERC—20 standard token that focuses on privacy and data security. Members of the project's community have long stated that this is the ideal solution for Japanese digital identity cards.

In a press release last year, CyberTrust, which owns Jasmy Co., talked about working on the iTrust identity verification service and allowed possible cooperation with the Japanese government.

Since May 2023, the "My Number" feature has become available on Android devices through the Mynaportal app. Another CyberTrust blog post says that the company's technology "provides the ability to verify identity" in combination with this particular development.

The JASMY community has probably decided that if the "My Number" feature appears on the iPhone, then iTrust will also be integrated with the device.

"It was announced literally by the [Prime Minister] of Japan. I'm not sure how much more reliable confirmation you can get," a JasmyCoin supporter wrote on Reddit.

Official comments from Apple and JasmyCoin representatives have not been published.

Recall that in April, the Hedera token (HBAR) increased by 110% after the tokenization of the BlackRock fund. Based on the announcement, the community decided that the largest asset manager had entered into a partnership agreement with the project.

However, the company later denied information about direct cooperation, which caused the coin to drop by 30%.
