The developers of the Atleta Network blockchain platform focused on the sports industry have announced the launch of a test network. This was reported to ForkLog by representatives of the Web3 company Blockchain Sports.
Atleta Network is a modular L1 blockchain based on Substrate technology with native cross-chain compatibility. It is designed to develop smart contracts, issue digital assets and increase the transparency of financial transactions in the sports industry.
The platform uses the Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPOs) consensus algorithm and the Cross-Chain Messaging (XCM) format for communication between the parachains. The modular structure of Atleta includes layers of data storage, smart contract execution and deployment of decentralized applications.
At the end of May 2024, the developers will launch the Atleta test network. It will be expanded:
cross-chain bridge;wallet;decentralized exchange;blockchain browser;a service for staking. In early May, the project finished distributing the Whitelist NFT at 105,000. Their owners will get access to the test network and become the first users of the Atleta Network.
According to the Atleta roadmap, the main network will be launched at the end of the third quarter of 2024. To pay transaction fees and staking, you will need a native ATLA token. Its first issue is scheduled for September 2024.
"There is no information about airdrop, but the team can follow the tradition and reward the first users. Subscribe to Atleta on social networks X or Telegram so that you do not miss the announcement of the distribution of ATLA tokens, if it takes place," the representatives of the project commented.
