Michael Saylor predicted Bitcoin at $13 million by 2045

The quotes of the first cryptocurrency will reach $13 million by 2045. This was stated by the founder of MicroStrategy, Michael Saylor, during a speech at the annual Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, writes Cointelegraph.

According to him, at the current bitcoin price of about $65,000, its market capitalization is $1.3 trillion — only 0.1% of the world's wealth. With an annual yield of about 29%, digital gold will reach $280 trillion and 7%, respectively, by 2045.

At the same time, Saylor named the average result. According to his estimates, the bullish forecast is bitcoin for $49 million and 22% of the world's wealth, bearish — $ 3 million and 2%, respectively.

The founder of MicroStrategy urged the conference audience to become bitcoin maximalists: buy the first cryptocurrency, transfer all their assets into it and move to a low-tax jurisdiction in order to invest the saved funds in digital gold.

According to Saylor, all physical capital — from stocks and bonds to cars and real estate —obeys the laws of thermodynamics, including entropy — the tendency of energy to dissipate over time.

"Entropy dilutes the value of physical assets. It sucks the capital out of them, the energy out of them. [...] Bitcoin is immortal, unchangeable and immaterial. [...] And this is the solution to our economic dilemma," he said.

Saylor stated that the first cryptocurrency is an exception to the rule because it "is not in the physical world" and has an "infinite lifespan."

Earlier, the founder of MicroStrategy expressed confidence in bitcoin's ability to reach the $10 million mark due to support from China and other factors. He called the asset "perfect."

Recall that in July, Saylor urged Germany not to sell digital gold.
