Odessa resident lost $32,000 due to a fake deal on Binance

A resident of Odessa contacted the police with a statement about fraud committed against him when trying to purchase cryptocurrency. This is reported by the Telegram channel "Dumskaya" with reference to sources in the department.

According to the victim, he saw in Telegram a link to a smart contract for the purchase of Lifeform cryptocurrency (LFT) through the Binance exchange. 

Following it, the Odessa resident made three transactions through a Web3 wallet for a total of $ 32,000.

The support service stated that the link that the user clicked on was fraudulent.

The issue of entering the case materials into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations of Ukraine is being resolved.

A previously deceived bitcoin investor from Poltava demanded compensation from the state budget.
