1,600 Russian citizens over the age of 18 took part in the survey. According to VTsIOM, almost nine out of ten Russians (87%) have heard something about cryptocurrencies, and one in five is well versed in what they are.
"In total, four out of ten (42%) of fellow citizens know or have heard something about the hamster, including only 14% who know about it well," the report says.
The most informed about Hamster Kombat are: the younger generation (86% of zoomers, 72% of younger millennials); those who understand cryptocurrency (67%); daily Telegram users (62%); residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg and cities where more than one million people live (53% and 50%) accordingly.
At the same time, 58% of those who know about the chatbot do not play Hamster Kombat. Only 8% indicated that they are trying to earn cryptocurrency with the help of a "hamster" (in terms of all respondents, this is 3%). 9% of those in the group who know about the chatbot said that their relatives are trying to earn money with the help of Hamster Kombat, and one in three (32%) has heard that his friends use the "hamster".
Previously, users of the Hamster Kombat mini-app complained that the game stopped running.
