Telegram founder Pavel Durov was included in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI) rating for the first time. He was ranked 279th out of 500 with a fortune of $9.15 billion.
Serial entrepreneur Elon Musk topped the Bloomberg list with $252 billion. US presidential candidate Donald Trump was in the penultimate, 499th place, with a capital of $5.89 billion.
Among the representatives of the cryptocurrency market, the rating includes ex-CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao with $38.8 billion (39th place) and CEO of Coinbase Brian Armstrong with $9.78 billion (257th place).
Coinbase and Paradigm co-founder Fred Ersam, founder of Digital Currency Group Barry Silbert, and Gemini founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, who joined BBI in December 2023, are not mentioned in the current ranking.
Recall that Durov, in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, revealed that he keeps part of his savings in bitcoins.
