The survey will end on May 21. In a separate thread, the team explained the advantages of each option:

distribution throughout the yearwill reduce SPONGE volatility due to the gradual accrual of remuneration;distribution within six months ― will provide faster access to tokens without a sharp increase in volatility; blocking for one month ― will reduce the supply on the market due to temporary blocking after accrual of remuneration;instant branding ― allows you to immediately access SPONGE, however, it can lead to a rapid drop in price due to an increase in the volume of supply.

At the beginning of the month, the project announced the launch of the staking of the second version of tokens (V2). To receive Sponge V2, you need to send Sponge V1 to the stake on the Sponge website. The smart contract will accrue rewards in Sponge V2.

"In the coming weeks, users will expect two significant events: the branding of the SPONGE token on Polygon and the release of the Sponge P2E game," commented representatives of the project.

Sponge is a meme token launched in May 2023 on the Ethereum network. In February 2024, the project migrated to Polygon. The asset is traded on Poloniex, Bitget, MEXC and other centralized exchanges, as well as on DEX Uniswap.

Recall that last week, memecoins outperformed the rest of the cryptocurrency market in terms of dynamics.
