The Eigen Foundation has reserved distribution for each LRT protocol like Kelp, Pendle and Equilibrium based on its interaction with EigenLayer, using criteria from the first stage.
Users who have re-placed their assets on similar platforms before the March 15 snapshot have the right to a new airdrop. The opportunity to collect coins is available until September 7.
"The specific allocation provided for each individual address was determined by the corresponding LRT protocol. Each protocol creates its own list for end users," the blog says.
The participants of the first phase who have already branded EIGEN cannot receive additional coins.
All users of the first season of the EigenLayer airdrop will receive a bonus of 100 EIGEN, including wallets from the second phase. However, one address cannot claim the award twice.
Representatives of the project noted that in this distribution, the protocol carried out a check on "sibils".
During the first "stakedrop", the developers unlocked 113 million EIGEN. However, for now, any coins received cannot be transferred, but they can be placed in a stake or delegated to other network participants.
According to tokenomics, 15% of the total issue of 1.67 billion EIGEN has been allocated to all EigenLayer airdrops. The community reacted negatively to the distribution rules, including restrictions on transfers and regional blockages.
At the time of writing, the EIGEN token is valued at about $6.85 on the Aevo premarket.
Recall that in early June, the total value of blocked assets in EigenLayer exceeded $20 billion.
Despite the high popularity of the service, the developer of DEX 3Jane under the nickname Chudnov warned of a potential crisis in EigenLayer profitability.
