Tether has signed an agreement with the Turkish crypto company BTguru
American Tether, the issuer of the USDT stablecoin, has entered into an agreement with the Turkish BTguru project, which undertakes to provide the American company's clients with the opportunity to tokenize assets.

Tether hopes to get private investors and government institutions of the Republic of Turkey as clients. The issuer of the most popular stablecoin promises to promote educational initiatives, negotiate with local banks and large investment funds.

The partnership began within the framework of Tether Edu, the educational division of the American company. In April 2024, the USDT issuer announced that it plans to expand its activities in the global market. The list of new directions for the company includes Tether Data, a division for development and investment in digital technologies, Tether Finance, financial solutions and tokenization, and Tether Power— cryptocurrency mining.

Earlier, Tether announced that in partnership with the Nodo platform, it will teach residents of African countries to make transactions with stablecoins.
