Co-founder of the decentralized social application Friend.Tech, under the pseudonym Racer, expressed a desire to move the protocol from the Base L2 network. The FRIEND coin reacted with a 32% drop.

After a while, the founder of Friend.Tech deleted the posts and his account in X, but one of the users saved screenshots of the posts.

According to Racer, the Web3 social network team's relationship with Base was not easy. He claims that "Farcaster investors went crazy denigrating us" because they did not understand the idea of the project.

On May 3, the Friend team.Tech has launched the second version of the protocol along with the native FRIEND token. At the start, the coin dropped from $169 to $1.4.
