YouTube has started testing a new Gemini-based AI feature

YouTube video hosting is testing a new feature for content creators Brainstorm with Gemini based on Google's AI.

It allows the authors of videos to brainstorm ideas, titles, and thumbnails. To use the tool, you need to open YouTube Studio, describe the idea of the video in the search bar and select the Brainstorm with Gemini option. 

The functionality is available to a limited number of users as part of the experiment. YouTube will evaluate the feedback from the authors of the videos before introducing the tool to a wide audience. 

Brainstorm with Gemini is similar to another AI feature that YouTube launched in test mode in May. She gives the authors ideas for videos that may be interesting to the audience, and then generates a plan to speed up the process of creating a video. 

In July, YouTube Music introduced two new tools: a talk radio function using AI, as well as an analogue of Shazam.

Previously, the company required authors to label content created using neural networks.
