Project Introduction

Beta Finance is a cross-chain, permissionless money market protocol enabling lending, borrowing, and shorting of crypto. It also offers an easy, bundled “1-Click” short feature that lets DeFi users take the other side of a trade to counter volatility, while allowing anyone to set up money markets for a token on their own automatically-improving asset utilization.

Prioritizing a smooth, integrated experience, Beta Finance is positioned as a place in DeFi to open, oversee, and end short positions. Lenders can supply any token; if the market doesn’t exist yet, it can be created permissionlessly, allowing them to earn yield. Traders can pay a premium to carry out short trades and hedging strategies. 

Beta Finance’s mission is to promote long-term stability for broader, mainstream adoption of DeFi by both individuals and institutions, by creating essential DeFi tools and infrastructure.

The native utility token of Beta Finance (BETA) is intended to support and enhance the platform. Current and planned applications include staking incentives, governance, and liquidity mining.

Isolated Collateral Model: To accommodate volatile assets, Beta Finance uses an isolated collateral setup, where users are responsible only for the collateral tied directly to their position. 

User-friendly: The Beta Finance dApp places strong emphasis on usability, offering a polished design and a clean, welcoming, and informative interface that serves both new and experienced DeFi participants.

Optimized transactions: When creating a short position, Beta Finance automatically computes the most efficient trade across the integrated DEX exchanges.
