About DODO

DODO is a blockchain-based decentralized exchange. It runs on a Proactive Market Maker (PMM) algorithm and says it enables capital-efficient liquidity pools. The platform also includes a range of trading options such as SmartTrade trading and aggregation, Crowdpooling, mining, and more. DODO maintains its own liquidity pools and supports swaps between any two tokens available on the market.

DODO is built on Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain, and its native token is DODO.

What are DODO’s key features and how does it work?

At its core, the DODO platform brings together multiple trading tools that can be used through different wallet apps. One of the main offerings is SmartTrade Trading and aggregation. DODO is designed to help users trade efficiently between two tokens on the same network by finding the best order route and returning the most favorable prices from its aggregated liquidity sources. Traders who take part in trade mining can receive DODO token rewards.

Another part of the ecosystem is crowd pooling/IDO functionality. This lets projects distribute tokens and launch liquidity markets. DODO’s crowd pooling aims to deliver fair access to token sales and also provides a window of liquidity protection to improve security during liquidity participation.

Beyond liquidity offerings, DODO’s liquidity providers can design and run market-making strategies using the DODO Vending Machine and DODO Private Pool. This enables users to build and tailor pools with the liquidity markets and pricing curves they want. Customizable settings can include things like mid-price, liquidity depth, and spread.

DODO also includes a distinctive Combiner Harvest mining feature. It provides an opportunity to join DODO’s collaboration with trending projects. Projects approved by DODO can set up liquidity pools, and users can supply liquidity to those pools through Combiner Harvest mining to earn DODO tokens as rewards.

What is noteworthy about DODO?

A key point is DODO’s custom-built Proactive Market Maker (PMM) approach. Unlike non-constant function market maker models, it allows configuration of variables such as asset ratio and curve slope. The design also supports using an oracle machine to inform prices-i.e., price discovery-directly on-chain. In addition, the oracle can gather funds close to the market price and help ensure pools have enough liquidity.

In practical terms, the PMM algorithm works like an on-chain adaptation of order book-style trading.

What can DODO be used for?

The DODO token gives holders a role in DODO governance. Holders also get trading fee rewards and IDO participation allocations.
