DOTMOOVS is positioned as the first crypto mobile global competitive arena. The project’s belief is that effort put into regular sports training should be rewarded with $MOOVs and distinctive digital assets such as NFTs, supported by an AI-based scoring approach.

The group includes AI professionals and medical engineers who have been developing their product for some time. The team is described as highly experienced and well placed to move their vision forward sooner rather than later.

dotmoovs aims to address these concerns: physical and geographic constraints, evaluation of skill, and then monetisation. The goal is to build a sports ecosystem where people can challenge friends-or other skilled players worldwide-in their preferred sport.

The platform begins with an arbitration engine that applies a two-step method to identify the human body and the positions of its limbs, followed by a scoring system that evaluates player skill. Through peer-to-peer challenges, users can monetize training time via cryptocurrencies and NFTs using open market dynamics.

Using blockchain, dotmoovs seeks to enable skill monetisation through digital currencies and assets governed by open market dynamics, giving athletes and players more ownership and control. The project targets democratised access regardless of a player’s country or currency. It also looks to create new revenue paths by letting sports fans earn from their wins; receive crypto incentives for engagement; and earn NFTs that reflect their progress-like trophies and collectibles they can trade or monetize.

Anti cheat

Because real competition must stay fair, dotmoovs is developing a secure platform that uses fraud-detection algorithms and provides access to the winning party’s videos to support confidence in the results. In addition, the AI-driven arbitration of skill is intended to offer an impartial view of performance across supported sports so each player can be assessed with confidence and accuracy.

Why now?

Artificial Intelligence has advanced to an unprecedented level, making it possible to apply existing technology and algorithms to new challenges. Smartphones also offer powerful cameras and are increasingly being equipped with LiDAR sensors, which supports understanding depth (for future development). At the same time, Computer Vision has recently enabled highly accurate detection of human bodies and their positioning.

Remote competition is increasingly important. COVID-19 disrupted multiple competitions, and many people are already training and competing by sharing videos with other athletes over tools like Whatsapp. The pandemic has increased the need to challenge others at a distance through digital-enabled products.

Who are we and why are we doing this? Our first steps in building a community

It’s simple: we love sports. We’ve tried different sports activities, even if not at a professional level. Still, that doesn’t stop us from wanting to challenge ourselves and sharpen our skills. After many heated discussions about who won or who demonstrated the better technique, we decided to build an unbiased, automated app to settle it-and move past the arguments.

We’re collaborating with world-renowned athletes (our ambassadors), amateur athletes, and sports enthusiasts to help ensure the product works for everyone. We want a fair ecosystem where people can form communities, set up and run matches, tournaments, or leagues, and create unique NFTs to broaden the sports experience-along with opportunities to help bootstrap communities across multiple blockchains.

We aim to push boundaries, challenge limits, and chase records. We want people to enjoy themselves and earn money while doing what they love most. And we want to give athletes control over their favorite sports.
