EdgeSwap is a layer 2 trading protocol built on Ethereum that uses ZK Rollup technology. Leveraging leading hardware acceleration and circuit optimization tooling, EdgeSwap aims to deliver fast, low-cost token swapping and farming services. It also focuses on protecting both users’ assets and privacy with security designed to be among the strongest in layer 2 scaling solutions.
EdgeSwap lets users swap tokens on layer 2 using an AMM-based approach. Its swap logic follows the constant product model x*y=k, meaning the pool’s k value stays the same before and after a trade. Because of current circuit size limits, routing for swaps is not supported. In practice, swapping token A for token B requires the layer 2 system to either support the tokenA-tokenB pair directly, or provide two pairs: tokenA-tokenC and tokenC-tokenB.
