EthereumPoW represents the initial Ethereum blockchain secured with Proof-of-Work consensus. While the Ethereum Foundation is moving toward a PoS fork, some community participants have chosen to remain with a PoW-based Ethereum. The EthereumPoW community pursues multiple objectives as it develops EthereumPoW:

No premine and no inflation. The project aims to be fair and to serve as the genuine continuation of the Ethereum chain;For the foreseeable future, keep Proof-of-Work and the Nakamoto Consensus mechanism-seen as the base of what has mattered most in crypto: a dependable and inclusive system;Remove EIP-1559. In an open and inclusive environment, there’s no reason to penalize one set of participants over another;The network, EthereumPow (named to differentiate it from the upcoming PoS alternative chain), is intended to become fully independent and self-sustaining, without any governance body. The community targets reaching this within 3 years.

EthereumPoW will operate its own mainnet and support mining pools.
