About Freela

Freela is a DeFi-powered, self-governing DAO created to support a decentralized, wide-reaching marketplace for freelancing transactions.

The platform supports both B2B (Business to Business) and P2P (Peer to Peer) commission-free transactions, using an intuitive user interface to connect skilled freelancers with job listings across the globe.

Freela introduces an innovative approach featuring professional mediation, aiming for a win-win outcome for both employers and employees-delivering high-quality work for employers and fair remuneration for employees.

YOUNG AND CREATIVE

Prior platforms tried to decentralise, but largely stayed limited to small market segments, while solutions aimed at bigger markets often became centralised. Freela addresses this gap by leveraging Blockchain technology, DeFi liquidity pools, and DAO governance to launch a broad, decentralised platform that hasn’t been seen before.

PEER TO PEER (P2P)

B2B-Business to Business-work has typically brought together different professionals across roles to manage the contract process, from drafting an MOU to completing the payment transaction. That same setup doesn’t suit a focused P2P-Peer to Peer-model, which can lead to unpleasant and discouraging experiences for freelancers. Freela offers “truly free freelancing” with trustworthy governance, designed to operate with zero human interference through current state of art technologies. This is intended to give stakeholders in both B2B and P2P contexts greater confidence throughout the transaction until their needs are met.

COMMISSION FREE

Freela is built around the idea of “the right person on the right job for the right pay”. After an employee/employer uses this model where the employer pays the employee with absolutely no commission/transaction fee in between, they are intended to stay with the platform. Freela keeps transactions free by deploying on the enterprise-focused Polygon(Matic) blockchain as the selected network, marking a start for a truly free freelancing era.
