GESIA seeks to address the shortcomings of existing not-for-profit environmental efforts and to open social impact investment options within a new carbon economy, using the opportunities enabled by blockchain technology. The GESIA Platform will begin with two services: 'social contribution services' and 'social impact investment services.' These are intended to help participants earn adequate returns while also contributing to society. The services are structured to encourage voluntary involvement by leveraging blockchain’s network effects and incorporating various playful elements.

Using the GESIA platform, investors can put capital into carbon offset credits using different virtual assets and receive tokenized carbon offset credits in return. This gives investors access to a blockchain-based secondary market. All transaction records will be stored on the blockchain and remain under management.
