About Green Satoshi Token

Green Satoshi Token (GST) is an essential component of the STEPN ecosystem. STEPN is a decentralized lifestyle app that blends Social-Fi and Game-Fi elements through Move-to-Earn gameplay. Players can earn GST by using Special NFT Sneakers while they move.

The STEPN ecosystem runs on two tokens: GST and GMT. GST serves as the platform’s utility token and has an unlimited supply. GMT, by contrast, has a total supply of 6,000,000,000 and is used for governance within the platform.

What are Green Satoshi Token’s key features and how does it work?

STEPN offers a range of Game-Fi features, such as Game Modes, Sneakers, Gems and Sockets, Shoe-Minting, and Badges. Current Game Modes include Solo Mode. Users can earn GST by walking or running, but GST is not earned when movement isn’t “organic” (for instance, using an electronic scooter). Rewards are calculated for each minute of movement, with the final amount depending on multiple factors, including sneaker type, sneaker attributes, and movement speed.

There are four Sneaker categories: Walker, Jogger, Runner, and Trainer. Each comes with a distinct Optimal Speed setting to match different workout styles and intensities. For instance, Walker’s optimal speed is 1-6 km/hr, while Runner’s optimal range is 8-20 km/hr.

Sneakers can also receive attributes that influence how much GST is earned from moving. These attributes can be enhanced by inserting Gems into the NFT Sneaker’s sockets.

On the Social-Fi side, STEPN lets users personalize their sneakers after they reach Level 30. Options can include changing the sneaker name, adding quotes, assigning additional Attribute points, and more.

STEPN includes an in-app marketplace where users can purchase, exchange, or rent NFT Sneakers, Badges, and Gems.

What is noteworthy about Green Satoshi Token?

STEPN aims to help address climate change by directing a portion of its generated profits toward Carbon Removal Credit on the blockchain. The platform also supports a voluntary donation system: users can donate their GST earnings, which are then exchanged to USDC or another fiat alternative and sent to Carbon Credit Buying/Burning.

What can GST be used for?

As a utility token, GST can be earned by users when they move across different modes. GST also includes multiple burning mechanisms designed to help maintain value. GST can be burned through shoe-minting, repairing and restoring HP, leveling up Sneakers, upgrading Gems, and unlocking sockets.

Where can you buy GST?

GST can be traded on the CEXs and DEXs listed here. The most popular venues with the highest liquidity are MEXC Global, Huobi Global, FTX, CoinBase Pro, and KuCoin. GST’s price will fluctuate based on the exchange selected and broader market conditions. For current and historical GST market pricing, check the price charts on this page.
