League of Kingdoms is a free-to-play MMO war strategy title built on blockchain technology. Its core gameplay follows a familiar RTS (Real-time strategy) style, with blockchain powering ownership being a central idea. In an alliance-led tactical environment, players can develop kingdoms, recruit armies, form alliances, and take part in battles across the game world. Every land in the game is represented as a non-fungible token (NFT) and can be owned by users.

To play, users don’t need any previous experience or understanding of cryptocurrencies, and they don’t have to hold Land NFTs to farm resources that can later be tokenized into NFTs. By using the LOKA token, League of Kingdoms aims to drive wider adoption, greater inclusion, and increased participation, since players can effectively own, propose, vote on, and earn within the game ecosystem.

LOKA serves as League of Kingdoms’ native governance token. Some of it will be used as in-game currency within the League of Kingdoms franchise for purchases like special packages, skins, and other goods. Additionally, the LOKA ($LOKA) token functions as an NFT booster to create, upgrade, and acquire special NFT assets, including (but not limited to) upcoming Drago and Skin NFTs. It will also be used to put forward and vote on on-chain governance proposals that shape future features, rules, content, and/or platform parameters. Finally, players can earn LOKA by participating in in-game competitions and/or completing special tasks-for instance, after each Continent vs. Continent (CvC) battle, winners receive LOKA tokens (and potentially rarer NFT item rewards) based on their performance.

Key Features and Highlights

PvE adventures: Players build kingdoms and train soldiers to battle monsters and enemy kingdoms.

Alliance building: Players are encouraged to join alliances for assistance, connection, and shared support with gamers worldwide. Progress in competitions and challenges depends on unity and a strong group bond.

Competitive matches: Players can participate in alliance-versus-alliance (PvP) matches to earn LOKA rewards. CvC will be the first competition type to provide LOKA bounties.

Vibrant NFT economy: League of Kingdoms centers its game economy on its signature Land NFT. Players can own the Lands they use to play and cultivate them to claim rewards. Beyond that, they can farm multiple resources that can be tokenized into NFTs for trading.
