Nervos (CKB) is a utility token of an open blockchain "Trustware" platform for decentralized applications.
Nervos is a set of scalable and interoperable protocols and the open blockchain "Trustware" platform for decentralized applications. "Trustware" goes beyond distributed ledgers and smart contracts.
Nervos uses the “Common Knowledge Base” to support universal computing and storage, provides better scalability and balanced economic incentives, and is mobile-friendly.
DApps in the CKB use Types to determine the appropriate data structure and store application data in cells. The application logic is implemented using Generators, and the state validation logic is implemented using Validators. Generators work on the client-side to create new states that are packaged in transactions and transmitted throughout the network. The consensus nodes in the CKB network first verify the authenticity of the sender of the transaction, then check the new states in the transaction using the Validators and place the actual transactions in the pool. As soon as a new block is generated and accepted, new states in the block are added to the CKB.
In this way, Nervos developed a radically separate decentralized platform to provide several ways of scalability, transaction reliability, and low local latency.
