What are Rainicorn’s key features and how does it work?

The platform works with NFT artists to spotlight their collections and broaden NFT use cases. With support from the Raini NFT Toolkit, artists can create distinctive NFT sets that are used exclusively across the RAINI network. 

Raini NFTs can also be designed as Evolving NFTs. That means they’re able to merge and reveal different kinds of information. For instance, Andy Thomas’s collection of animated NFTs uses real-time weather data tied to the owner’s selected location to reflect changing conditions.

For governance, community members can join votes on a range of subjects. This covers selecting and nominating NFT artists, deciding on new Raini platform features, and adding new RTLOL card entries.

What can RAINI be used for?

RAINI is used for staking within the platform. Users can earn passive income while also helping secure the network. By staking RAINI, participants can receive RAINBOWS, and by supplying liquidity to pools on Uniswap and Pancake swap users can earn UNICORN.

Reward rates vary by staking pool. In the RAINI Pool, users earn 1 Rainbow per hour for every 100,000 RAINI staked. In the RAINI-ETH LP Pool, users earn 1 Unicorn per hour for every 1,000 RAINI-ETH LP tokens staked. Users can also receive more rewards the longer they keep assets staked, due to a bonus multiplier. 

RAINBOWS and UNICORNS can be exchanged for different rewards, including rare and exclusive NFTs and Trading Cards. UNICORNS are used to redeem ultra-rare NFTs and Trading Cards. Trading Cards are used in platform tournaments and can be utilized in compatible Play-to-Earn games. For example, the genesis card drop was intended to coincide with the release of The Lords of Light game.
