Seedify functions as a launchpad for blockchain games and the players who love them. It targets the growing play-to-earn sector by giving developers a way to roll out their games through curated Initial Game Offerings (IGOs).
Over the last few years, the gaming space has expanded quickly, and blockchain-powered games have also gained traction thanks to added NFT capabilities that became especially prominent across 2021. Against this backdrop, Seedify Fund was established in January 2021 to provide blockchain gaming teams with a streamlined place to run IGOs and pursue fundraising objectives, alongside help with marketing and community growth.
SFUND is the native token of the Seedify. fund ecosystem. It is a BEP20 token that can be used for staking and investing, and it lets users collect rewards within the platform.
Projects supported through Seedify are chosen by Seedify’s DAO. This DAO oversees the ecosystem and handles community moderation. SFUND holders can participate in voting using permissionless smart contracts, with the DAO determining things like which projects to back, roadmap directions, and other key business outcomes.
For each funded project, Seedify provides 75,000 tokens in exchange for 3% of that project’s own token supply.
To join IGOs on Seedify, users need to complete multiple steps. First, applicants must pass KYC via Blockpass. They also must hold SFUND to be eligible. The platform uses a tiered setup, meaning that the more SFUND a user holds, the greater the pool weight they receive.
Furthermore, after Seedify launched its Staking and Farming pools, token staking is required. Holders must stake SFUND until 24 hours ahead of an IGO to qualify, since whitelist snapshots are taken 24 hours before the event. The longer the SFUND stays locked in a pool, the higher the APY.
Unlike many other blockchain projects that rely on inflation to stay sustainable, Seedify does not use inflation. Instead, it funds staking rewards by drawing from rewards generated by other projects, which can help reduce long-term dilution concerns.
SFUND can be traded on the CEXs and DEXs listed here. The most widely used venues with the highest liquidity are KuCoin, Pancake Swap, and Gate.io.
SFUND’s price depends on the exchange you choose and broader market conditions. For current and historical SFUND pricing data, please check the price charts on this page.
