Sentinel ecosystem is a worldwide network of autonomous dVPN applications designed to support private, censorship-resistant internet connectivity. To move the vision forward, the project first built a bandwidth incentive and resource monitoring protocol. As part of completing this initial foundation, Sentinel has released a prototype VPN client intended to help monitor and reward data transfer between a host node and an end-user. Using interoperable blockchain technology, Sentinel Network plans to leverage multiple blockchains to deliver the following services.
Features of the Sentinel Network:
Distributed design with no node holding the full datasetDeveloper-friendly SDKA single desktop/mobile client connects to all services.Sentinel uses a multi-chain architecture to support secure data exchange between individuals and applications-including Legacy, Enterprise Apps, Mobile Apps, and dApps, meaning centralized and decentralized applications are both handled natively by the protocol. The network targets infrastructure and scaling challenges, aiming for production-level transaction speed by implementing:
Multi-Chain Architecture:
Identity Chain - An Anonymous User ID (AUID) is generated and stored on a separate chain that works with the other chains to grant access to Services on the Service Chain and to support payment handling on the Transaction ChainService Chain - Secure Data Tunneling through an Underlay and an Overlay Relay Network. Governance is planned to run on top of the Service Chain, and a peg Token named Sentinel Service Token ($SENT-SST) will serve as the Utility token for Transactions within the Service ChainPayments and related processing, including submitting transactions to the Sentinel Transaction Pool, are managed by the Sentinel Transactions Chain.| Exchange | Pair | Last Price | Change (24H) | High (24h) | Low (24h) | Spread | Volume (24h) |
