Thetan Arena is a blockchain-powered Esport Play-to-Earn mobile game. Its goal is to build a “game that connects crypto owners with gamers and streamers”. What are Thetan Arena’s key features and how does it work?

Thetan Arena is built around each player’s abilities and cooperation in multiple battle game modes. The primary mode is Battle Royale. In this mode, 12 players enter a match and compete against one another until only one remains. Participants must stay inside the battle ring and work to break open supply boxes, collect power points, and defeat other players to keep surviving.

Heroes are central to the gameplay, with each Thetan Hero having its own special ability and stats tied to its role within the battlefield. When players join for the first time, they’re assigned a Thetan Arena hero. Heroes are organized into three groups: Tank, Assassin, and Marksman. These categories shape which kind of battle action or skill each Hero is best suited for.

Heroes are also classified by rarity, separated into two tiers: base rarity and skin rarity. Base rarity includes Common Hero, Epic Hero, and Legendary Hero. Skin rarity includes Default Skin, Rare Skin, and Mythical Skin.

They can be traded on the game’s NFT marketplace.

What is noteworthy about Thetan Arena?

Thetan Arena uses two tokens: THT and THG. THT is the platform’s in-game currency: Thetan Coin (THT). Thetan Coin is free-to-earn and can be obtained through gameplay across different game modes and other in-game activities, such as joining battles, completing quests, and earning ranking-based rewards. THT is used to buy Thetan Boxes, which are the source of Heroes for the broader game ecosystem, and it also includes streamer rewards for people streaming Thetan Arena.

What can THG be used for?

Thetan Gem (THG) is the platform’s second currency and acts as a utility token. It is the platform’s digital cryptographically-secured fungible token. Players can use THG as a medium of exchange within the Thetan Arena platform, and it is not designed to be used as a payment method outside the ecosystem. 

THG also provides economic incentives to token holders. Rewards are available for users who actively use THG and help drive ecosystem participation and overall activity. Distribution is based on activity levels and/or the proportion of how often and how much transactions occur. Users who stake Thetan Heroes can also receive THG as a reward.

Additional ways to earn THG include special events run by Thetan Arena, such as tournaments, as well as interacting with the marketplace. NFTs are also provided as rewards.
