Vesper is a blockchain-based platform providing DeFi (decentralized finance) products built for usability, longevity, and scalability. It’s a full DeFi network governed through the VSP token.
Vesper introduces a decentralized environment designed to make DeFi services and products more accessible. The goal is to deliver DeFi tools in a way that ordinary users can more easily pursue their crypto-finance goals.
The Vesper Token (VSP) acts as the main economic engine behind the growth and expansion of Vesper and its community. As with any cryptocurrency, the market price of Vesper [VSP] can fluctuate sharply (with potentially extreme value swings), so consider that carefully before investing in VSP or other crypto assets.
The Vesper project is made up of three key components:
Vesper ProductsVesper provides multiple high-yield “Grow pools” that let users generate passive income from their crypto holdings by picking the level of aggressiveness in their approach and the asset they hold. Grow pools are the first product available on the Vesper platform.
Vesper Grow Pools are algorithmic DeFi lending protocols. They gather capital contributed by participants and then put it to work generating interest across different DeFi services. This accumulated interest is then used to release the pool’s deposited asset (which can include ETH, BTC, USDC, or other assets) and distribute it to members as their interest.
To use a Vesper pool, choose the pool you want and make a deposit. After that, the platform handles the remaining steps. For withdrawals, you simply submit a claim for your earned interest, and the withdrawal is completed in a single transaction.
Vesper TokenVSP is designed to encourage involvement, support management, and motivate users to contribute. By supplying assets to the pool and taking part in ongoing updates to Vesper, users can earn VSP tokens.
Vesper CommunityVesper forms a community of users responsible for maintaining and expanding the product lineup, advancing progressive decentralization, and enabling users to build new products while receiving a share of the commissions generated by those products.
VSP is a governance token and the backbone of the Vesper ecosystem. VSP holders get voting power on proposed improvements to the platform. Owners can also allocate their tokens into Grow pools to passively earn more VSP over time.
You can earn VSP tokens through these methods:
Participation in Grow pools. Each pool is allocated a specific amount of VSP, distributed to participants based on how large their stake is. Grow pools run incentivization for twelve months after launch.Liquidity provision. Liquidity providers for the VSP-ETH trading pair earn VSP tokens, similar to Grow pool participants. Incentives for the token pair last for the first twelve months, and any continuation beyond that will be decided by VSP holders.Staking VSP in the vVSP Pool. Participants can deposit their tokens into the VSP treasury pool. As staking ETH in an ETH pool produces vETH, staking VSP in the VSP treasury produces vVSP. When you withdraw and yield fees are directed into their respective pool (ETH, BTC, USDC, etc.), the proceeds go to the Treasury Box, where they’re used to buy back VSP on Uniswap. That VSP is then provided to vVSP pool depositors as passive interest on their deposit. Vesper launched on February 2, 2021. Multiple exchanges list VSP trading pairs, including Uniswap, Gate.io, Poloniex, SushiSwap, Bittrex, and Hotbit. These venues show the current market price of VSP as well as its past performance to help you make a purchase decision.
Vesper (VSP) runs on the Ethereum Blockchain as an ERC-20 token. This allows VSP to be stored in any ETH-compatible wallet, such as Exodus, Metamask, or Trust Wallet.
After buying, you can also keep VSP on exchanges, though using a separate wallet is generally recommended for better security and long-term storage. Hardware wallets-such as Ledger or Trezor-are typically the safest option, but they tend to be costly. They are best suited for users holding substantial value or planning to keep assets for an extended period.
