WhiteBIT Token (WBT) is the native token of the WhiteBIT exchange. Founded in 2018, WhiteBIT operates globally, and has grown to become the largest European cryptocurrency exchange. One of the goals of the project has been to create an exchange that allows ordinary people to engage with and work with crypto, not just crypto enthusiasts. WBT has a total supply of 400000000. It is both an ERC20 and TRC20 token standard.

What are WhiteBIT Token’s key features and how does it work?

The WhiteBIT ecosystem offers users a variety of products and services. The WhiteBIT exchange itself allows users to buy, trade and sell crypto. It offers a large number of trading pairs. In terms of trading, the platform offers spot trading, margin trading, instant exchanges, P2P services, and futures trading. WhiteBIT also has its own Earn product allowing users to earn a yield on their deposited crypto. 

Additional products on offer include WhiteSwap, the platform’s decentralized exchange which is built on the Ethereum network, BITCOIN GLOBAL, a dedicated platform for Peer-to-Peer transactions, and whitepay, a payment processing solution.

The platform charges a maximum exchange fee of 0.1% for conducting transactions on the platform. A listing fee is also charged for new assets listed on the website, the amount charged will vary from project to project.

The WBT token can be used across the entire WhiteBIT ecosystem. This includes the exchange itself and across the mentioned products above. Furthermore, holders of the WBT token are entitled to reduced trading fees and can receive other benefits when using the exchange. This includes an increased referral rate, commission rebate, free withdrawals, and free AML checks.

The WhiteBIT exchange will buy back and burn tokens until at least 50% of the original total supply is destroyed.
