WhiteBIT Token (WBT) is the native token powering the WhiteBIT exchange. Established in 2018, WhiteBIT serves users worldwide and has expanded to become the largest European cryptocurrency exchange. A core objective of the project is to build an exchange where everyday users can interact with and work with crypto-beyond only cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Key advantages highlighted for the exchange include strong platform security, its infrastructure architecture, transparency, and helpful support, including technical support available in multiple languages. 

WBT has a total supply of 400000000 and uses both the ERC20 and TRC20 token standards.

What are WhiteBIT Token’s key features and how does it work?

Within the WhiteBIT ecosystem, users can access a range of products and services. Through the WhiteBIT exchange, users can buy, trade, and sell crypto, supported by a broad selection of trading pairs. On the trading side, the platform provides spot trading, margin trading, instant exchanges, P2P services, and futures trading. WhiteBIT also offers an Earn product that lets users generate yield on their deposited crypto. 

Other offerings include WhiteSwap, the decentralized exchange built on the Ethereum network, BITCOIN GLOBAL, a dedicated space for Peer-to-Peer transactions, and whitepay, a payment processing solution.

For transactions on the platform, the exchange charges a maximum fee of 0.1%. There is also a listing fee for newly added assets on the site, and the exact cost depends on the individual project.

What can WBT be used for?

WBT can be used throughout the full WhiteBIT ecosystem, including the exchange itself and the products mentioned above. In addition, WBT holders receive reduced trading fees and can access other exchange-related perks, such as a higher referral rate, commission rebates, free withdrawals, and free AML checks.

The WhiteBIT exchange plans to buy back and burn tokens until at least 50% of the original total supply has been destroyed.
