Gravity Bridge is a purpose-built, fully decentralized, trustless blockchain designed to move assets between the Ethereum and Cosmos ecosystems. With Gravity Bridge, Ethereum and EVM compatible tokens can be routed to a Cosmos wallet and then onward to other Cosmos wallets or DEXs, including Osmosis or Gravity DEX. In the same way, Cosmos SDK based blockchains can transfer tokens through Gravity Bridge into the Ethereum ecosystem, where they can be used for transfers or potentially traded on Uniswap or other ETH DEXs.

By relying on the entire validator set of the Gravity Bridge blockchain to transmit and relay transactions, Gravity Bridge is arguably the most decentralized bridge available today-especially compared to bridges that depend on centralized multi-sigs or a limited set of nodes and signers. Any Cosmos-based blockchain can use IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) to connect to Gravity and transfer assets from Ethereum and EVM based chains. Likewise, any front-end provider can create a tailored setup that lets end-users send Ethereum and Ethereum based stable coins to Cosmos.
