Gridex Protocol is a permissionless, non-custodial trading protocol made up of persistent smart contracts that cannot be upgraded, all deployed on the Ethereum blockchain. Instead of following the dominant AMM (Automated Market Maker) approach used by most decentralized exchanges today, Gridex uses an order book design. Through its Grid Maker Order Book (GMOB) model, Gridex lowers the computing resources needed to operate an order-book system, enabling deployment and operation on Ethereum while keeping gas costs in line with AMMs.
