Using its treasury, the DAO allocates capital to high-impact L2 protocols and ecosystem opportunities, acting as a diversified venture fund for investors who want exposure to the L2 ecosystem’s expansion. It also contributes liquidity through depositing and staking, then continuously rolls generated returns back into the DAO. Layer2DAO further rewards users for bringing their funds to L2 networks and for using protocols on those L2s, following the same incentive-style approach that has worked for other protocols. 

Layer2DAO is directed by holders of the L2DAO token. Through its proposal and voting process, L2DAO token holders decide what actions Layer2DAO takes and the overall direction of Layer2DAO.
