Vector Finance is a protocol designed to deliver enhanced stablecoin returns sourced from Platypus, allowing users to access the yield without holding PTP. PTP holders can participate by swapping their PTP into xPTP, which entitles them to a portion of Vector’s earnings. Vector is preparing to launch, so have your PTP and stablecoins ready. Vector Finance also operates in a symbiotic relationship with Platypus Finance.

Vector lets users earn boosted yields on their stablecoins even when they don’t hold any PTP. It achieves this by pooling PTP from participants who elect to convert their PTP into xPTP. Through this mechanism, Vector additionally provides added usefulness for the PTP token: after converting to xPTP, users receive a substantial share of the total yield produced by the protocol. This supports improved capital efficiency and helps broaden Platypus’s community. The Vector token, VTX, further provides access to the voting power that PTP holders can obtain, including those who may be less inclined to take part in governance, while also enabling users to share in the platform’s profits.
